This is Shilo. She's a two year old hound who somehow suffered a trauma to her eye and now requires that it be removed. Shilo was brought into the emergency room for treatment but her owners preferred not to treat her. The hospital staff loved her so much that they began calling rescue groups for help and that's how Homeward Trails found out about her. And we couldn't turn our backs on such a sweet girl...
